Cats Vs Dogs

They say(Im not sure who "they" are) that there are two types of people. Dog people and Cat people. I am strongly in the former category. Now, I am an animal lover regardless of what type(besides snakes, but snakes arent animals), but as far as personal preference for domesticated animals, Im going dogs every time. Dont even say one thing about rabbits, chinchillas,ferrets, or any other rodent type pets. They are cute and have their place, but THEY arent in the 2 categories, so lets stick to dogs and cats.

Cats are sneaky and self serving. I dont care what any cat enthusiast says, they are. Cats only concern is themselves and ensuring that their needs are met. "Cat people" say cats are smart. I say the are conniving and sneaky. A cat may ALLOW you to pet it, but make no mistake about it, its not for your benefit. A cat truly feels that you're living in its world(Ive interviewed several and its a secret, but its true) and that you are their to take care of its needs.

Lets look at dogs on the complete opposite end of the spectrum. Dogs want to please their owners beyond anything else. That is their primary concern. If your sad, your dog will know and console you. If your mad, your dog will leave you alone. If you want to play, your dog is up immediately. Dogs truly are mans(or womens) best friend.

If you are gone a week from a cat, it will go about its business with no regard to your absence. Leave a dog for 30minutes and they greet you like you have been gone a life time.  Yell at a cat and it just wont care. Yell at your dog and its world has come crashing down(but give it 5minutes and the dog is back to loving you unconditionally)

I like cats and they are fine as pets(if you are a lonely old lady), but dogs win eout in every category.
