Back to work

well my last fight went pretty fast. I took sat/sun off and was back in the gym on Monday. The first week was pretty laid back. I did cross fit twice and one bag workout, but after that, it was back to work. I trained at Erik Paulsons CSW, Millennia Jiu Jitsu, Rodrigo Mederios and my own gym(Bob Chaney Martial arts) and picked up my strength & Conditioning at CrossFitByOverLoad. I put in a solid 3 weeks. It was good because I was already in shape and had no injuries. The hardest part was getting back into full training mode after already doing an 8 week camp in preperation for the May fight.

I feel good and this fight should go well. My conditioning and strength is way up, my technique is where I want it to be. Now its just time to get in there. Im thankful because it seems that a lot of the promotions out there see me as an asset and I can stay busy. I have offers for July, Aug, Sept already and I plan to stay busy as long as Im injury free and mentally where I need to be.

Ive got to thank all the people who have supported me even in the hard times. That means so much. Ive been doing this since 2002 and in that time Ive had some great times and some really dark times. It makes you realize who are real supporters and who are there when everything is good.

I also have to thank my sponsors because they ensure that I have the financial support to keep at it. This job is really hard and even harder if you dont have the ability to get the things you need.
