My next fight is a little under 2 weeks away. Im feeling really good and well prepared. Ive been training for this fight for 6 weeks already and truly feel the hard work will pay off. My last fight wasnt a real test and I think this next one will be how ever. My first opponent pulled out with an unspecified injury last week, which through me for a loop. my new opponent is a south paw(just found that out yesterday) and I really dont know what to expect. His record is not great(6-3), but that means nothing and Im guessing he is coming with the intention of knocking me out(from what I gather, he is a striker).
Its strange not having a fight camp for this fight, but it hasnt really made too much of a difference. Ive had to travel to train(thanks to all my friends at Millennia for your help), but Ive had some great training partners come in and spar. On top of that, Mr Bob Chaney is a great addition for my stand up. I also have to thank Crossfit by Overload(WWW.CROSSFITBYOVERLOAD.COM) for the additional strength and conditioning.
This week will still be hard training, but my focus has been on being mentally ready. The physical work has been put in. My weight is where I need it to be, my conditioning is great and my technique is feeling sharp. Now, I just have to take this guy out!
